Q: Are the plants and flowers grown right inside the containers?
A: Yes. The plants for the Blooms-in-a-Can and for the Blooms-in-a-Bag are grown right inside their containers-the bags or the cans. Just plant the easy-grow seeds about 1/8" deep in the provided enriched soil mix and add water and sunlight. It is that simple. The plants could be easily transplanted outdoors in warmer weather or can be grown indoors.
The Wildflower Seed Shakers are for outdoor gardens and are just as easy to use. Simply sprinkle the seeds outside and cover with 1/8" of soil. Add water and keep moist. These colorful wildflower gardens will bloom from Spring through Fall, year after year.
Q: Can you grow these flowers and plants in any season?
A: Yes, we use seeds that can be started indoors in any season -any month. When the weather gets warmer, you may easily transplant the flowers or plants outdoors.
Q: Do I need to water and/or fertilize these garden kits?
A: Yes. All plants need water. Do not over water. Instructions are included inside each garden kit. Plants need to be fertilized - about every three months. This is also covered in the instructions.
Q: Will the containers leak?
A: No. Both the Blooms-in-a-Can and Blooms-in-a-Bag containers are 100% leak-resistant
Q: How soon will they begin to grow?
A: Most plants and flowers will begin to germinate in 5-8 days. Some plants and flowers may take a little longer.
Q: Can you ship my order outside of the United States?
A: No. Unfortunately, due to import/export restrictions of seed & plant material, we cannot ship outside of the USA.
Q: Can you customize my order with a name or logo?
A: Sure, if you order a minimum of 50 of the same garden kit, we can drop in your up to 3 lines of text and even a full-color logo for a one-time setup charge of $29. Send artwork to art@lovestogarden.com, along with your information, and we will have a customer service person guide you through this process.
Q: Can you create a totally custom garden kit?
A: Sure, if you order a minimum of 150 of the same garden kit, we can create a totally custom garden kit -exclusively for you. There is a setup charge of $99 for this option. Send us an email at custom@lovestogarden.com and we will have a have a customer service person guide you through this process.
Q: What happens if my plant does not grow?
A: All our seeds are 100% guaranteed to bloom. For more information, click on the Guaranteed to Grow link.
Q: Are your products Made in the USA?
A: Yes. We are proud to employ gardeners and craftspeople who are dedicated to providing gardens to our customers for many, many years. All our products are made in the United States, as we do not wish to send jobs overseas. As a family business, we certainly do not want to risk putting products into our garden kits that may contain lead or other products -just to save a few pennies - so we design & package it all in-house.
